Student days of prayer and retreat
We have lead numerous workshops on prayer with student involvement. All are individually designed to meet your needs.
Theological Updates & Parish Programs
Many adults were never taught about the Scriptures. Many teachers and catechists did not take Theology courses. Others long to deepen their faith life with new insights in theological reflection. We offer courses and special programs to meet this need. Catholic School Teachers updating of late has centered around a mix of workshop and retreat days on Creativity, Teaching Children to Pray, Scriptures and Prayer in Daily Life.
Staff Days of Prayer & Parish Retreats
We have lead numerous School, Religious Education or Formation, Deanery and Parish Staff days. Each theme is developed around your local needs.Retreat days can happen on site or off site. We work with your needs.
Our retreats range from the creative to the more traditional. We have also worked with Seasonal themes and the Scriptures. We have worked with Senior Citizens, Women's Groups, Minstries of Catechesis and Liturgical Ministers as well as Parish Outreach and parish jubilees.
Ministerial Training Programs
We have also done numerous workshops and courses on Prayer, Methodology and Religious Education. Workshops for Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Prayer in the Nursing home and more.
Confirmation Retreats
We have led Confirmation Retreats from Brooklyn to the East End of Long Island. These retreats have centered in theme around the Sacrament and Church or the Gifts of the Spirit and Who is Jesus in teens lives? Our programs include movement, guided meditation,and can be adapted to include art as meditation or themes of your program.
Scripture Courses
With a Masters Degree in Sacred Scripture, and over 20 years of teaching Scripture to adults, classes are informative but also relevant to every day life. We also can do workshops using the Holy Land sites we visited as a grounding
We have taught those who never opened a bible to the regular bible study person often in the same room!
Sacramental Meetings
We were instrumental in the integration of the Family Perspective and Sacramental Preparation Meetings for Parents as well as for Parents and Students. Meetings are interactive and allow the wisdom of the group to illuminate Catholic Teaching and Practice. We have especially done meetings for Communion and Confirmation with an occasional workshop on how to teach Scripture to Children.
